Integrity, does your child know what that means?

That's right, "Doing the right thing when no one is watching" Perfect definition! Or, when a 6 year old friend's Mom said to him, "You're so well liked at school, that must be because you are kind." He responded, "And I listen well."

Whether it's your teachers, your parents, your friends or a stranger, always be respectful, always have integrity, as defined in the dictionary: adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.

When Rafael Nadal lost his tennis match to Frances Tiafoe at the recent US Open and the reporters asked him if he was distracted by his wife being about to give birth or a bad stomach, he said no, Frances played better than I did and then he walked over to the behind-the-scenes production people in the press room and thanked them for their work. AND, he does that after every tournament, win or lose! Indeed, "integrty is doing the rite thin when no one is waching", and that definition comes from my 7 year old granddaughter, Blake!

Teach your kids to be champions, teach them to have integrity- kindness always wins.

AND, find the right school that in it's mission statement and ethos values social equity, integrity and being an up stander.
