Juneteenth- "Goodnight Racism"

Why is this day important? Because we can teach children there are bad rules in society. We as teachers and caregivers of children, need to teach children about racial equity.

Ibram X. Kendi, author, professor and expert on racial justice has just written Goodnight Racism about children living their best lives and addresses saying goodnight to unfair rules, cruelty, injustice, inequality, hate, hurt and racism.
