Colin Powell is truly an up-stander. He was known to be kind, a difference maker, judicious, a statesman and a true gentleman. He died today from complications of COVID-19, despite being vaccinated.
In 1995 he wrote an auto-biography, "My American Journey".
A native New Yorker with a calm demeanor, Colin Powell was a giant not just for Black people, but for all people.
