Applying to school in the New York tri-state area is not for amateurs!!
Presentation: Dress like you are going on an interview, nothing flashy, but be respectful. This is not a play date in the park.

Always arrive 10 minutes early, just in case you are at the wrong entrance to the building. Maybe walk by the school the weekend before if it’s close by, That way your child sees the school, and you know exactly where it is.

If the interviewer shakes your hand, look them in the eye and speak clearly.

Make sure you get the name of each person you meet, so you can write a thank you note.

Be interesting and interested. If the interview seems flat or the school has questions, be prepared to tell a story or ask your own question.

We can't control how many spaces there are, or if they are looking for a specific gender, or if they need a violinist or a baseball player, but we can be ready!!
