There is little doubt that your kids, regardless of their age will spend some time at home learning this year. Rather than stressing, put that energy into getting ready.
There are so many things you can do, and they will save your sanity:
Teach them to tie their own shoes:
Teach them to dress themselves:
and don't get too excited about the choices!
Let them make their own lunch or leave it out for them, that goes for snacks too.
Help them with tech issues by giving them strategies: turn the computer off and re-start it. Or check with Google or YouTube, before asking your parent. Learn the iPad short keys (like to add a period, double click the spacebar!)
There are tons of great places for young children: @busytoddler or @hellolittlebuddies or @maker_morgan.
Set a schedule and post it where everyone can see it.
Be organized and make sure your child is organized with the supplies they need.
If you have some controls in place, you will feel much saner and working at home for you will be much easier.
