Summer is almost gone, school is about to start, are you ready????

There is no time like the present to read to your child, or have them do their summer reading.

Or write a journal about the summer, or dictate a journal, or put together a photographic journal of summer memories. That helps with sequencing which is so important for organizing the mind.

These few weeks before school starts are important to get work done. Play games, work on buidling structures, concoct recipes and write up the ingredients with the instructions-this is all learning and keeps the mind active.

And it's fun!!! Play games, invent new games. Try experiments.

Make sure your children, whatever their age, are keeping their minds active. Whether they are writing their own books:

Inventing a new card game or building legos.
Starting school is an adjustment and if your child's mind and body is used to a schedule, and being focused it will be much easier, trust me!

Thinking about a new school? Need help identifying that school? Happy to help!
