A woman trainer wins the Kentucky Derby-YES!!!!!!

Cherie DeVaux, made history on many levels this past weekend when her horse Golden Tempo won the Kentucky Derby.

Cherie DeVaux rode horses her whole life and changed her career path from being pre-med in college to being an exercise and horse trainer. What a pay off!

Anyone who watched this horse come from last place to first place, can't help but be impressed by the grit, the dtermination and the quiet resolve of this horse, the jockey and the trainer.

This is a coveted race to win, but for a feamel trainer to win? Now that's something!!!!

Cherie, the horse's trainer remarked, "and it really is an honor to be able to be that person for other women or other little girls to look up to."
