Activity + skill + values with children

It's holiday time, how about baking with kids of any age? It's not expensive, it involves reading, measuring, counting, the 5 senses, science, and fun. And it's a great way to spend time and build gratitude. Bake for your neighbor, your teacher, your doorman, family members, doctors, your crossing guard...

If children of any age are going to grow up with gratitude, you have to show them how, whether it is by having a bracelet and sticker stand to raise money for others:

Or making cards for a friend who is sick or a grandmother who is housebound or helping your elderly neighbor bring the groceries in, start young!
