How books inspire kids to be creative, curious and dream big

A year ago I gave my granddaughter an Amelia Earhart doll from Little Rebels:

and several books:

Amelia Earhart was one of my childhood heroes, so what could be more amazing than seeing my 9-year-old granddaughter dress up as her and deliver a presentation on her exploits at school?

This is a perfect example of curiosity feeding knowledge! Amelia Earhart was an American aviation pioneer.

1. She was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

2. She received the Legion of Honor and the Distinguished Flying Cross.

3. She was a women's rights proponent.

4. At 17 years old, Amelia went to an air show, went for a plane ride, and decided she would become a pilot.

5. Amelia kept a scrapbook about successful women in film, law, advertising and engineering.

6. Amelia went to Nursing School and became a Social Worker.

7. Amelia published a book and was the aviation editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine.

7. Amelia said, "Adventure is worthwhile in itself".

What could be better than to talk to your child about adventure, goals, passion, and grit? Does your child go to a school that inspires them to dream about who they can be, not who they can't be?

Find that school, contact Wendy Levey Consulting, we've got this, all things education from preschool through highschool. Do it because all things are possible!
