Teachers are change makers!

Teachers change lives, develop minds, and teach much more than reading, writing, and 'rithmetic. They give their time day after day, they are high energy, and they showcase good values: kindness, empathy, civil discourse, and grit.

Did you have a favorite teacher? Did you say thank you? Does your child say thank you?

Teaching is what fills me up, and seeing the kids I have taught over the years is so gratifying. Remember your teachers and teach your children to say 'thank you'!

After that first day of school, write your teacher a thank you note, no matter how old you are!
